Guess where I’ve been?

We had a fabulous vacation, but I’m back and sewing.  And since the picture posted, apparently able to upload photos once again (hurray!).  I’ve been working on two muslins–some Burda WOF pants from the 9/2007 issue and a blouse (Kwik Sew 3199).  I had major sleeve issues with the blouse–but once I did a proper square shoulder alteration, raised the armhole (and adjusted the sleeve accordingly) plus rotated the shoulder of the sleeve an inch forward (I have forward shoulders, but prefer not to adjust the shoulder seam, just the arm) and made a big bicep adjustment to the sleeve and sleeve band I think my problems are solved.  I had help from  the Vintage Sewing Reference Library–a great site and for, those of us who sew, almost as fun to visit as Disney World.
